Dr. Finley is an assistant professor of psychology at Fontbonne University in St. Louis. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. His research interests include memory, metacognition, and offloading memory onto the environment. He recently published a book on Memory and Technology. He has taught courses on: intro psychology, research methods, statistics, cognitive psychology, senior research seminar, controversial issues in psychology, and he created the class Memory and the Human Experience. Outside of psychology, he likes birds and video games.
